DOWNLOADABLE PRODUCTS and DOWNLOADABLE LINKS are products you receive as soon as payment is received.  The receipt (top left hand corner) displays links to download the products purchased, as well as on the email receipt. Click on either link to retrieve your product(s) and your download(s) will begin immediately (or as close to immediately as it may take for your web browser to load the link). You may be prompted to select a location to save the file, or the file may be downloaded automatically, depending on the user's browser settings.

HOW TO FIND AND/OR RETRIEVE YOUR DOWNLOAD(S): Mac-based computer
1. Note the name of the file or program that you have downloaded. It is easier to find if you have the entire name, including the file extension.
2. Go to your desktop.
3. Click on the "Spotlight" button in the top right corner of your Mac.
4. Type in the name of the file and hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard. This will result in a list of instances of files on your Mac that match the file name. Once you find the file or program in that list, click on it and it will open.

HOW TO FIND AND/OR RETRIEVE YOUR DOWNLOAD(S): Windows-based computer
When downloading to a Windows-based computer, by default your file will be saved to the "Downloads" file folder.  If you cannot locate that folder, follow these steps:

1. Note the name of the file or program that you have downloaded. It is easier to find if you have the entire name, including the file extension.
2. From your desktop, click on the start button (the "Windows" logo in the bottom left corner.)
4. Locate the "Find" or "Search" box, depending on your version of Windows.
4. Enter the name of the file that you downloaded, and click "Find Now" or "Search." Some versions will start searching automatically as you type.
5. Double-click on the file or program in the resulting list and it will open.

 

HOW TO FIND AND/OR RETRIEVE YOUR DOWNLOAD(S): Browser-based solution
1. Open the browser that you used to download the content or program. Some browsers, including Firefox, have functionality that lets you track where your downloads reside.
2. Click "Tools" in the browser menu and scroll down to "Downloads" if it is available. Click on "Downloads." In Safari, go to "Window" and scroll down to downloads. 3. Scroll through the list of downloads from the browser in the list that appears. Double-click the download.

WHAT ARE INTERACTIVE CDs
Some products are called interactive which means you have the option of opening and typing on a document before printing it out. You may fill in the whole document, part of the document or your may print out the document first and then fill it in. This is a great option as both adults and kids are able to use these interactive products.

Shipping Charges To Contiguous U.S.
All orders which require shipping will be subjected to a flat rate of $4.25.

Standard shipping takes 4-6 business days to California, and 7-10 business days to all other states within the contiguous U.S.

Shipping To Alaska & Hawaii
All orders which require shipping will be subjected to a flat rate of $4.25.

For Alaska & Hawaii, please allow 3-6 weeks for your product to arrive.

Shipping Charges To Canada
All orders which require shipping will be subjected to a flat rate of $4.25.

Canada Customs Charges & Other important facts

  • Your order may be subject to import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches Canada.
  • Packages are shipped DDU, "duties and taxes unpaid", and does not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If you do incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear Canadian customs.
  • For more information regarding Canada’s custom policies, please contact your local customs office.

International Orders
Unfortunately, we do not ship to areas other than the U.S. and its territories, as well as to Canada. International residents can order downloadable products as found throughout this website

Shipments to U.S. Territories
All orders which require shipping will be subjected to a flat rate of $4.25.

Shipping to U.S. territories take 3-6 weeks. We ship to the following U.S. Territories: Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Marshall Islands, Palau, America Samoa, Federated States of Micronesia and Northern Mariana Islands. While we cannot guarantee delivery times to U.S. Territories, we ship via USPS Parcel Post, and most orders arrive in a timely manner.

Shipments to APO/FPO
All orders which require shipping will be subjected to a flat rate of $4.25.

Shipments to APO/FPO addresses take 4-6 weeks. Please note that this is the time it takes your order to reach the centralized APO/FPO address, and we cannot guarantee delivery times to specific military installations.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
If we do need to back-order merchandise, you’ll be notified on your shipping confirmation. Karen’s Kids has a reputation of shipping orders within 2 weeks.

CHANGING YOUR ORDER
Orders are processed very quickly. If you wish to change an order that has already been shipped please send back the unopened CD package to Karen’s Kids P.O. Box 581 Cardiff, CA 92007 with a copy of the invoice and a note about what product you are requesting in exchange for the returned item. Please allow 1 -2 billing cycles for any charge card credits to appear on your statement.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Unopened CDs can be returned. Simply fill out the reverse side of your packing list or invoice and enclose it with your return shipment. If you no longer have your packing list, please enclose a note indicating the reason for the return and whether you’d like an exchange or a refund. (Items received as gifts are only eligible for a merchandise refund.)

Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for any charge card credits to appear on your statement.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If you receive any damaged items in your shipment, please e-mail us as soon as possible, and we’ll send a replacement right away

TAXES
All California residents add sales tax to their order. The only exempt group is the U.S. government. Below is the tax rate as of May 4, 2011. Double-check your own tax rate to be sure.

California Residents add applicable sales tax as follows:
San Diego County, CA add 7.75%
Encinitas, CA add 7.75%
El Cajon, CA add 8.75%
La Mesa, CA add 8.50%
National City, CA add 8.75%
Vista, CA add 8.25%

ALL other California areas not listed above add 8.25%

Tax exemptions
The U.S. government is the only entity exempt from paying sales tax according to the State Board of Equalization.

As a special "thank you" to our loyal customers, Karen's Kids Studios has created our Rewards Program. For every $10 you spend, you will earn 1 reward point. As your points accumulate, you can apply them towards future purchases at Karen's Kids. Each point is worth $1. (Rewards can only be earned and used for products purchased on this site.)
